General Guidelines for Vegetable Transportation on Train

Reservation and Booking Process

  • Reserve Space Online:
    • Farmers or traders must reserve space using the online app.
  • Station Visit:
    • Visit the designated station to make the payment and confirm your booking.
  • Collector Details:
    • Provide details of the collector when booking the space.

Preparing Your Vegetables for Transport

  • Arrival Time:
    • Bring the vegetables to the station one and a half hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • Tagging and Securing the Sacks:
    • It is the farmer's responsibility to tag the sacks with the order number.
    • If sending more than one sack, tag all sacks with the same order number.
    • Use a coloured thread or tag to identify your sacks easily.
    • All sacks must be properly tied to ensure they are secure during transport.

Customer Support and Tracking

  • For any clarifications, call the hotline at 1971.
  • You will receive SMS updates for all transactions.
  • GPS tracking of the vegetable train will be available on the website.

Collection at the Unloading Station

  • The collector must come to the station to collect the sacks upon the train's arrival at the unloading station.
